Question: e, have done keratin and before that balayage , am using olaplex no.3 but my hair still dry . Do I need to take any protein treatment or olaplex stand alone treatment…i want shine in my hair?

Dana McCook: When word of Olaplex first went public I was told by a Olaplex Educator to NOT use protein on my hair while using Olaplex. She said too much protein will make hair feel dry & brittle. NOW they’re saying Olaplex can be used WITH keratin treatments! Wish they would wait until all aspects are well researched before releasing products to the public ‼️

It also helps the hair absorb moisture and protein better but it does not contain moisture or protein so you do still need to meet the hairs needs in these departments. For a correct recommendation for a conditioner/deep conditioner I would consult with your stylist. Olaplex works well with all lines and brands ?

AK Pizano: Even after an Olaplex treatment, deep conditioning is a must. If your hair is dry I recommend this dc.
